First Impression: The V4100 has XROAD Sleek intelligent design. 4.3 is a very good screen. It looks modern and feels well built.

Results:

I opened the box and start using XROAD V4100 without reading any instructions. I can find out how to use all the basic functions within a short time without any problems.

GPS takes a long time to get a satellite when I first came on. That is typical of Rochester, NY last - heavy overcast. After that, every time I turned on the V4100 a few minutes it takes to get a satellite signal.

Want to enter your destination easy. The readings and displays the information that is very intuitive. Road maps and directions are easy to see and follow. When darkness V4100 automatically switches to get the night mode and the vehicle, which is very good and easy for your eyes.

When I started using the V4100, is they do it very well. Required to return to the previous that I had plenty of time to go to the right Lane. Voice prompts clear and easily understood. No amount of indicator when you enter the navigation mode. I kept trying to turn the volume up without knowing whether it was at the maximum setting. Although that said, I think this unit of GPS can use a few more. Sometimes difficult to hear, especially if there is wind or traffic noise.

The V4100 is a true and he did a good job in keeping my location on the street when I was around. So he was given a satellite signal, there are very few dropouts. Very quickly recalculate my route when I miss a turn. Until now I see that the road map well enough. Point Of Interests (POI) is a little nothing. It doesn't include all the supermarkets and the main attraction.

T I did not test the phone or use this image GPS function. Why would I want to play music through a spokesman ¼ units of GPS to my car while traveling the stereo?

Conclusion: If you can get XROAD V4100 for under $150 per er a better value. Prompts GPS performance is better and sound great. You will get what you want to go with a safe and accurate.

NOTE:

This unit only comes with a map of the United States. If you travel across the border, this is not the unit to you.ed
