Today I setup provides some tips on important issues in Windows XP/2000 such as Outlook Express, Internet connection sharing, printer configuration, enable / Disable Firewall and create user accounts in Windows XP Professional.
How to Configure Outlook Express?
You can configure outlook express to send and receive email in the following way.
Open Outlook express.
Next enter your screen name and press the next button information.
Enter your default email address where you want to receive emails.
In the Incoming mail POP3, IMAP or HTTP server measurement POP3 inbox. (You can get a test from your local ISP). This will be something like this pop.yourisp.com. (POP3 is used to receive mail.)
In the Outgoing mail (SMTP server) into an environment that is given to you by your ISP. This could be something like this smtp.yourisp.com. (SMTP is used to send email).
After filling two boxes at the top click next. On the next screen (Internet Mail Logon), enter your user name and password provided to you by your ISP.
Click next and then finish.
Note: If you want to add more of your email account in Outlook Express, you can do so by following.
Open outlook express
Open the Tools menu > Numbers > Mail > Click the Add button on the right and click Mail.
Here you can repeat all the settings mentioned above to configure your new email account.
How & Install Printer Configuration on Windows XP / Windows 2000?
> > Start Control Panel Double-click the printer and fax.
On the left click Add a printer and click Next
Here or you can install a local printer that is attached directly to your computer or you can configure a network printer.
Select Local printer attached to this computer and also check this option automatically installs the plug and plug and play printer. Windows will close the search and provides new conditions Printers plug and play.
If Windows fails to investigate and automatically install the printer driver, you get this error message witch could not investigate any plug and play Printers. Now click the next button to manually install Printers. How to Enable / Disable Firewall?
On the next page using the LPT1 port for the printer and press the next button information.
On the next page click on Have Disk and browse to the journalists to CD-ROM that contains the drivers.
Press Ok to install the driver.
How to Make User Accounts in Windows XP?
You can perform user account in Windows XP in the following way.
Start > Control Panel > User Accounts
Click create a new account
Type the name of the account and click next
You can take these types of accounts or a facilitator or a small computer and the journalists create an account.
