In the UK, the normal speed broadband available to 8Mbit / s. Broadband is now almost entirely for several years now. So why are we still declare broadband rather than dial-up?

For example, 8Mbit / S can be promoted to up to 160 times faster than dial-up! Broadband is available in 99.6% of the UK during the dial-up that may only be available in many rural areas. It's safe to say that dial-up is a thing of the past.

Ofcom has recently expressed concern about the situation and our broadband situation has been called in the telecommunications sector, using billions of pounds to help catch up with Britain to France, Germany and the United States have started to invest a large following of countries like Japan and South Korea.

There are also suggestions that the government should help in what could cost Britain about £ 25bn to build the fiber optic network itself.

Current copper cable infrastructure and a clear sense of Strains of new technologies that cut short of full capacity.

Tuners now fiber optic installed in homes in the Thames Valley 9.500 by BT, but they expect this trend to continue with the remaining 30 million in the UK may be asked, too, now.

Many countries now can say with a broadband 10 times faster than the s. England So maybe we should stop advertising broadband as several times faster than dial-up and begin to come to solutions to get something that a few times faster than our current broadband.
