Magstripe (also called Swipe Card) Readers

Each entry point has a card reader and encoded user swipes a card to obtain entry cards.

This technology is used and there are many choices of producers.

Proximity Readers

Instead of swiping a card or tag, only share with the reader that the card size you will see in a distance of about 100mm. This is a fast, non-contact way to.

Long Range Readers

Problems proximity distance reader (average yards or more) will automatically open the door to open or when the card is detected.

This is especially good to follow the Act Disability Discrimination Act (DDA) if no action is required and the card.

Smartcard Readers

Using the tag or card system, this card can also carry additional information that can be used to build other services - - for example, time and attendance functionality, integration and payroll systems, car park management and even vending machine applications.
