Positioning system GPS uses 24 satellites around the earth that determines any location on earth. Has been developed by the U.S. Defense Department U. S. GPS system, which previously intended for use in military operations during the first satellite was launched in 1978. However, in the mid-90's, 23 more satellites have been added to the rotation system and the modern GPS was born. Today's civilian consumers has been taken to establish the system and increasing popularity.
